01

Clear focus:
Cabin safety documentation

Technical detail matters. So does the ability of cabin crew to understand, find and apply the procedure when it counts.

OUR EXPERTISE / 01

Documentation that
works in operation.

RJOX concentrates on the documents and procedures that underpin safe, consistent cabin operations. Our work is designed to give operators clear findings, usable drafts and an auditable route from observation to change.

02 / DOCUMENT DEVELOPMENT

Controlled
manual rewrites

Targeted rewriting and restructuring that makes procedures more usable while preserving technical intent, clear responsibilities and the operator’s change-control process.

Tracked changes · Clean drafts · Revision rationale

03 / ASSURANCE SUPPORT

IOSA CAB
readiness support

Documentation-focused gap reviews and preparation support informed by applicable IOSA Cabin Operations requirements, helping teams organise evidence and identify areas requiring attention.

Documentation mapping · Evidence readiness · Action tracking

From the first review to the final controlled draft, every recommendation should be understandable, traceable and practical to implement.

REGULATORY CONTEXT / 02

Technical rigour.
Operational reality.

Document reviews can be considered against the operator’s applicable regulatory obligations and internal standards. The exact scope and reference set are agreed before any engagement.

UK CAA

ORO.CC

Cabin crew-related operational, training and checking requirements, where applicable.

UK CAA

ORO.MLR

Operations manual, documentation and records requirements, where applicable.

IATA

IOSA / CAB

Cabin Operations documentation-readiness support using authorised, current reference material supplied or licensed for the engagement.

RJOX provides independent consultancy support. It does not perform official IOSA audits, issue regulatory approvals or replace the operator’s accountability for compliant implementation.

OUR APPROACH / 03

A clear route
from review to revision.

Good documentation work requires more than a list of findings. It requires a process that supports review, decisions and controlled implementation by the operator.

01

Define the scope

Agree the aircraft, documents, intended standards, stakeholders and expected deliverables.

02

Review and map

Assess current content and identify inconsistencies, gaps, duplication and usability issues.

03

Rewrite with control

Produce clear proposed amendments, tracked changes and a supporting rationale.

04

Handover with clarity

Deliver a findings register, revised drafts and practical next actions for operator approval and implementation.

THE EXPERIENCE BEHIND RJOX / 04

Led by someone who understands the operational impact.

RJOX Aviation Consultancy is being developed by Richard Oxbrough (Rich), an aviation professional with more than two decades of industry experience, including eight years as Head of Cabin Services & Training at Eastern Airways.

Rich brings a practical approach to cabin safety documentation: technical accuracy, controlled processes and clear instructions that make sense to the people using them.

RJOX is independent, with an initial focus on supporting UK operators and a considered approach to work in other jurisdictions.

LET'S TALK / 05

Better documentation
starts with a conversation.

If your operation is reviewing its cabin safety manuals, preparing for internal assurance activity or working through a controlled revision, RJOX welcomes an initial, confidential discussion.
